The art
agency Ad Astra Musica (www.dudasova.sk) is organizing a benefit concert ‘The Magic White
Stick’ for the Lions Club Bratislava Pressburg under the auspicious of the mayor of Bratislava part Nové
Mesto Ing. Richard Frimmel.
The Lions Club,
a world wide organisation, assists those who are blind and visually impaired
through its various activities and projects.
The profit
from the ticket sale will be used for completion works of a first maternity
home and kernels for guide dogs for blind or visually impaired in Slovakia.
Every year a
number of applicants asking for ownership of a guide dog increases and their
breeding in Slovakia
is necessary in order to meet the demand effectively, in terms of both
financial and time requirements.
Project will
be presented at the Art beat Fest 08 (www.artbeatfest.co.uk)
the first Slovak and Czech Art &
Music Festival in London,
on the 10th and 11th 2008. There, the SUSCIPIO will be initiating a financial gathering for the project.
The main attraction of the benefit
concert will be baptizing of 7 puppies born in Jakubovo, Slovakia.
The evening will be resonating in
popular names such as Peter Lipa, Stano Danciak, Zuzana Maurery, Andrea
Dudasova, Slavka Halcakova and Marian Cekovsky. A dynamic performance of a
group Remedios and a dance show of the Jumbo Street Dance – Milan Keres will
lift you up from your chairs.
