OUR MISSION Mission of the Suscipio
Foundation is to support artists who are at the beginning of their
career and who find it difficult to present their art on the complex
and competitive UK market. The foundation will, among other things,
help them find their way and orientate themselves in the UK.
OUR AIM The aim of the foundation is to support
beautiful and positive things created in art. We want to return to the
primary goal of art, the healing of the soul. Our effort aims to bring
the work of gifted artists out to the light to create impact. We
want to direct our effort especially to the young people, whose lives
may be easier today from the economic point of view, however, much more
demanding emotionally. Daily, they are exposed to aggression and
violence, albeit usually just passively. We believe that beauty
perceived through art may help them to cope. The Foundation
supports talent that is able to show people how to look at life from a
different perspective: through colors, sounds, forms, movement, and
words.
WHAT WE DO The Suscipio Foundation is a mutually beneficial
not-for-profit organization for artists of any kind from music, crafts through performance. In return, the supported artists will help to create a
project for a community, e.g. art education of talented children from
orphanages and poor families, contribution to a training of guide dogs for
blind and visualy impaired, organize a concert in an old people's home, engage disabled
children in a dance production, and others.
What the artists will get is experience, exposure and the opportunity to create an impact and thus make a difference. The possibilities are endless: galleries where they co-host an exhibition, annual festivals, auctions, etc.
